About

Tom Baker is a student photographer who makes his home in Upstate New York. He has extensively travelled the world to fulfil his love of making pictures, all the while learning about different lands and different cultures every step of the way. His travels have taken him through countless countries including the vast majority of South America, Europe, Asia, and all over North America. Along with this, he has also spent years living in Sao Paulo, Brazil and London, England, travelling extensively throughout the whole of both these countries. He’s lived with one of the world’s richest billionaires, and has also walked in the muddy, filthy sewers and dumps which many impoverished people call home. From climbing unexplored sections of the Great Wall of China, to wrestling (with assistance) wild alligators in the Amazon jungle, he has done more in 22 years than most people will do in their entire lives. He is fluent in Portuguese, and has also made countless contacts around the globe during his travels. Tom is currently residing in Southern California, studying at Brooks Institute of Photography. He has also studied photography at a university in the heart of central London. A plan is in the works for a two month documentary trip to some hidden corner of the globe, in the very near future. Any recommendations of places not easily found on a map are greatly encouraged! Thank you for visiting this site, and be sure to check back frequently, as it is always changing.

Tom is available for photo shoots anywhere in the world, at certain times of the year. Please use the ‘Contact Me’ feature, or click here, to contact him with any requests.
Thanks!
